Donations to Doctors without Borders

150 Miles, 100 Degrees, 20 Pounds
These distances to be covered, temperatures to be endured and loads to be carried might seem impressive, but not as impressive as the work done by Doctors without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières in some of the most dangerous and impoverished parts of our planet.
Here is the link for donations:

Be it the refugees from the fighting in South Sudan, landmine victims in Yemen or villagers cut off from medical aid due to fighting in Chhattisgarh India these doctors are putting their lives on the line (two are currently hostages in Kenya) to help the people who need it most.
My hope is that people who hear about me running through the Sahara for seven days in the Marathon des Sables will be inspired to donate some money to Doctors without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (a quarter a mile perhaps?).
The next big target is $500: that's enough for 1,250 doses of Meningitis A vaccine.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.  Many thanks for your support-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

About Me

I've been running since I found that I was not that good at ball sports at school. In 2006 I ran the New York marathon with my brother and completed a 50K race each year following that. In 2011 I did my first 50 miler, the Ocean to Sound, and in 2012 I got into the Marathon des Sables for April 2013. I will be raising money for Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières. I am also looking for corporate sponsorship.
